An openly AI-made remembrance

The photograph in
the drawer, given
a few seconds of breath.

We repair the damage, recover the detail, and let them blink, or nod, or almost smile. Three to five seconds. Nothing more than they might have done while the shutter was open.

No voices. No speech. Every file is marked as AI-generated, in the file itself.

Beloved, undated

Four steps, and only one of them is yours.

  1. 01

    Send the photograph

One photo is enough. A phone snapshot of a print works — you do not need a scanner, and you do not need to fix anything first.

  2. 02

    We repair it

Scratches, tears, fading, and softness are corrected, resolution is recovered, and the face is brought back to where it should have been.

  3. 03

    You choose the gesture

We suggest the movements that suit this particular person and this particular photograph. You see it move before you pay anything.

  4. 04

    It arrives

The finished remembrance comes by email in high definition, with a page you can share with family. Your original is deleted unless you ask us to keep it.

The whole list

Eight gestures. That is all there is.

This is not a sample of what we can do — it is everything we will do. A short list is the point. We choose from it based on the person, the era, and how the photograph was taken, and when nothing on it suits, we say so and refund you.

  • A gentle smile

The expression softens, the way it does when someone recognises you.

  • A soft blink

One unhurried blink. Often the moment people find hardest to watch.

  • A slight nod

A small acknowledgement. Suits formal portraits that would resist anything more.

  • A small head turn

The head shifts a few degrees, as though something just caught their attention.

  • Looking toward you

The gaze settles on the camera and stays there.

  • A small wave

A brief, warm wave. Best on candid photographs rather than studio portraits.

  • Breathing

Only the rise and fall of the shoulders. The quietest option we offer.

  • Hair and clothing

Fabric and hair move very slightly, as if in a room with an open window.

Our promise

What we will
never do.

This technology can do considerably more than we allow it to. The limits below are built into the software, not written into a policy — so they hold even when someone asks us nicely.

  • No voices

We will never generate speech, and we never add music or sound to the video. A recreated voice is not a memory of one.

  • No talking

We do not move mouths to imply words. Movement that suggests speech is what makes a rendering feel like a recording.

  • No invented events

We animate a gesture, not an occasion. Nobody will embrace, walk, or do something they did not do.

  • No pretending

Every file we deliver is marked as an AI-generated remembrance, in the file itself. That mark is not removable.

If a photograph is too far gone to be treated respectfully, we will tell you and refund you. We would rather return your money than return something that does not look like them.

For when you want to give this to someone without asking them for the photograph first.

Questions people ask.

Is this a video of them?

No, and we will never describe it as one. It is an artistic recreation built from a single photograph. Nothing in it was recorded, and the file itself carries a permanent mark saying so.

Will it still look like them?

That is the part we are strictest about. The gesture is kept small deliberately, because small movements preserve a face and large ones distort it. If we cannot move a photograph without losing the person in it, we do not move it.

What kind of photograph works?

Almost any, including damaged ones — a photo of a print, taken on your phone, is fine. The face should be reasonably visible and not too small in the frame. If it will not work, we tell you before you pay.

Can you add their voice?

No. We do not generate speech, and we never add sound of any kind. This is the one request we turn down most often, and the answer will not change.

How long does it take?

You will see it move within a few minutes of uploading. The finished high-definition version arrives by email shortly after you order it.

What happens to my photograph?

It is deleted after your remembrance is delivered, unless you ask us to keep it. We do not use your photographs to train anything.

What if it is not right?

You see it before you are charged, so most of this is settled up front. If something still goes wrong after you have paid, we refund you — we do not ask you to accept a version you do not want.

Can you do pets?

Yes. The same limits apply: a gentle movement, no sound, and no invented behaviour.

Start with one
photograph.

You will see it move before you are asked for anything. Fifteen dollars, once, and only if you want to keep it.
